President Trump's Greatest Asset

RINOs like John McCain who have campaigned for years on ending ObamaCare, sneak into the Senate chambers in the middle of the night and torpedo a consensus agreement that would have de-funded (effectively repealed) the country’s first step toward socialized medicine. It seems Senator McCain is more interested in obstructing President Trump than achieving his long-stated objectives. Like the dimms, Senator McCain seems to have no ideology, despite what he says. John Kasich, the republican governor of Ohio and failed candidate for the republican presidential nomination, is such a small, petty person, he didn’t even show up at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland to recognize Donald Trump as the party nominee for president. This, after just a few weeks earlier, he refused to concede the race and drop out, long after being mathematically eliminated. This tiny man’s hubris knows no bounds. His vitriol towards Trump prevented him from acknowledging the will of his own party at the RNC in the state where he is the duly elected governor. Ridiculous, but at least he’s sticking by his ideological guns.
This has become all too typical in today’s political climate. “Never Trump” has become the mantra for this country’s political class, the “deep state”. This behavior has revealed the nasty underbelly of both parties and the life-long bureaucrats who run the myriad “alphabet soup” federal agencies. The fact that a populist non-politician was elected to this nation’s highest office has put them all on the offensive, using every dirty trick they can imagine to impeach, indict or otherwise discredit President Trump.
The negative consequences to our country’s security or prosperity doesn’t seem to matter. This deep state machine has revealed itself as a globalist tool intent on accumulating wealth, power and control at the expense of the well-being of the American people. Political debate between Republicans and Democrats is just a guise. Both parties have overseen a bloating federal bureaucracy no matter how much they appear to disagree. A perennial grip on power and control is their only real objective and their never-ending, petty bickering masquerades as political discourse. It is all just a distraction.
No matter how they promote President Trump as “unfit” for office, they surely realize he is on to them and has sworn an oath to protect and defend our Constitution. Unlike his predecessors and the current party leaders, Donald Trump fully intends to uphold his oath. They know this, and it scares the shit out of them. Tools they previously used as leverage to bend politicians to their will, like huge campaign donations, knowledge of previous political underhandedness and personal indiscretions simply don’t apply to Donald Trump. He is truly an outsider to their political “swamp”. While outspoken for years, Donald Trump never held political office prior to being elected president. He didn’t need, nor did he accept donations from wealthy PACs, corporations or individuals seeking political influence. This independence is one of the main reasons I voted for him. Obviously, I was not alone.
For far too many years, Americans have repeatedly voted republican or democrat, believing one or the other’s rhetoric and expecting things to change and improve. Since the 1970s, we’ve watched as our country has lost its manufacturing base, welfare and food stamp programs ballooned and our middle-class shrunk dramatically under constant wage stagnation and decreasing job availability. Our inner cities have turned into third-world war zones while the voices of millions of “fly over” voters went unheeded.
On November 8, 2016 those same fly-overs came out by the millions and said, “We’ve had enough!” We’d had enough of “apology tours” from our "community organizer-in-chief". We’d had enough of globalist trade deals sucking the economic life from our shores. We’d had enough of politically correct “safe zones” stifling free speech and labeling our founders as racists and our Constitution as a “has-been” document. We’d had enough of presidential executive orders unconstitutionally directing law enforcement to ignore duly legislated laws while giving illegal aliens more protection than our own citizens. We’d had enough of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars being shipped by the pallet-load to terrorist-sponsoring dictators in Iran. We’d had enough of watching ISIS thugs beheading and drowning Christians in cages while shouting "Death to America". We’d had enough of our embassy staff and ambassador in Bengazi being brutally murdered while their repeated pleas to our State Department for help were ignored. We’d had enough of watching China’s massive illegal military and economic expansion while maintaining their “favored nation” trading status within the World Trade Organization. We’d had enough of a tin-pot dictator in North Korea threatening us and our allies with rogue missile launches and thermonuclear weapon development. And we quickly got REALLY TIRED of being called “deplorable”, “racist”, "Nazi" and “bigot” for daring to think it was time to change the political status quo of D.C. It was time for “business as usual” to end. It was time for the D.C. swamp to be drained. We’d become sick and tired of whiny, beta-male politicians bowing down to globalist agendas. It was time for a REAL change. It was time for America to stop apologizing and stand up for itself once again. It was time for a true “alpha” in the White House. It was time for Donald Trump!
And what a good decision the American people made!
In just 14 months since taking office:
- The stock market’s value has increased over 30%
- Over 3 million new jobs have been created
- Companies are moving or expanding to the US in record numbers
- More federal regulations have been eliminated than by any previous administration
- Unemployment is at a 29-year low
- Black unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded
- Hispanic unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded
- The largest tax cut in history has been signed into law
- Over $4 trillion have been re-patriated from foreign holdings by American companies
- Economic optimism is at the highest rate ever recorded
- The military sequester has been ended and replenishing has begun
- ICE agents are rounding up and jailing/deporting MS-13 gang members by the hundreds
- ISIS territory has been reduced to just 2% of their pre-election geographic holdings
- Kim Jong Un has agreed to a missile moratorium and de-nuclearization talks
- President Trump has decided not to re-authorize the Iran nuclear treaty
…and these are just the items that immediately come to mind. I’m sure there’s lots more that I’m not listing here.
In spite of all this, the deep state and the complicit mainstream media continue to denigrate President Trump and dismiss his long list of achievements. Some dimms have gone so far as to credit Obama for the record-setting economic gains of the past 14 months. What a pile of horse shit. Compared to Donald Trump, Obama can't even spell “economy”, and has even less clue how to manage it. Let’s face it. Obama has never held a real job in his life. From the day he graduated college, he has sucked off the taxpayer tit. He has no clue what makes business tick in America, or if he does, he just doesn’t care. He ran for president under the mantra of “Hope & Change”. By the time his terms ran out all the American people could “hope” is that they had enough “change” in their pocket to buy something to eat. The man epitomized the left’s whiney, beta-male apologist attitude. Americans were made to feel apologetic for being successful, for being ambitious, for being heterosexual…the list goes on and on. Hell, the Obama ilk even want us to apologize for being white! What could be more racist than that? “Me thinks thou doest protest too much!” Whatever happened to the idea that people should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character? In the 60s, that was a truly noble progressive sentiment. How far the left has fallen.
While President Trump has repeatedly demonstrated his empathy for minorities and stated how proud he was for record low unemployment for blacks, Hispanics and women, the left continues to pit one segment of America against another under the pretense that America’s success is a zero-sum game. In other words, lefties believe that for blacks to progress, whites must sacrifice. Or, women’s progress can only come at the expense of men. Healthcare for all means that those with adequate healthcare must pay additionally for care they do not need so that others can have coverage. Any way you slice it, the left stands for nothing but wealth redistribution administered by Washington D.C. (after D.C. gets its cut, of course!) In short, they want power over every aspect of our lives and are willing to economically and socially destroy our country to get it. Tyranny.
President Trump, conversely, understands that rising economic tides lift all boats. Every American prospers when America prospers. He understands how wealth is created and that this creation is how to improve the lot of all Americans, not by forced confiscation (taxes) and redistribution through federal social engineering programs. He also understands the need for many federal regulations like those that protect our clean air and water but realizes the federal bureaucracy has ballooned over the past seven decades and that many existing regulations do more to justify a profligate bureaucracy than protect our country. He also understands that the quickest path to good health insurance is a good job and government’s role in healthcare will be greatly reduced by employee benefits the private sector has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to provide.
During the campaign, Donald Trump promised voters to make America a winner again. He jokingly said we’d get sick and tired of winning so much. He repeatedly stated that the fixes were simple and that our economy was being managed by people who “don’t know what the Hell they’re doing”. Based on the above list, I’d say he knew what he was talking about and that he’s well on his way to fulfilling that winning promise.
I will be the first to admit, Donald Trump’s actions often don’t conform to what we’ve all come to recognize as “presidential” behavior. In fact, some of his tweets make me cringe and wonder why the hell he’d say something like that. What you can’t dispute is President Trump’s transparentness. His speeches and tweets often seem like a flow of consciousness versus the well-scripted, massaged and teleprompted communications we got from past presidents. While some give me pause, mostly I love them. I rarely have to question what President Trump believes about most any subject and I find that very refreshing. Again, he isn’t a “bought and paid for” politician. He owes nothing to lobbyists, wealthy donors or even his own political party. This is President Trump’s greatest virtue. For once, Americans have a president whose only debts are to the oath of office he took and the promises he made to the American people. Every day he demonstrates his love for our country and his unwavering determination to service those debts.
